Property of a Political Prisoner Couple Confiscated in Favor of the Iranian Government

According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, the "Imam's Decree Executive Headquarters" has confiscated the only house of Fatemeh Mothanni and Hassan Sadeghi, two political prisoners who are imprisoned in Evin and Gohardasht prisons.
Iman Sadeghi, the son of these two political prisoners, told the Campaign for Human Rights in Iran that after confiscating a large portion of the property, the "Imam's Decree Executive Headquarters" has taken action to confiscate only the family's residence, even though, according to criminal law, the court cannot confiscate property that deprives the convict's spouse, children, and dependents of basic needs such as food, clothing, and housing.
According to Iman Sadeghi, his parents need medical care in prison, but the judicial and security authorities have not paid attention and, despite coordination and doctor's appointments at the family's expense, they are obstructing their treatment process by not sending his parents to the hospital.
Hassan Sadeghi and Fatemeh Mothanni were sentenced to 15 years in prison each on April 10, 2014, in Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court by Judge Mashallah Ahmadzadeh on charges of "associating with the People's Mojahedin Organization."
