Two accused of wife murder arrested in Ilam and Kermanshah

Two men in Ilam and Kermanshah, accused of murdering their wives, were arrested.
HRANA News Agency reports, citing ILNA, that a man accused of murdering his wife was arrested in a neighborhood in Ilam city.
The Sar-e-Pul-Zahab police commander said in this regard: "Following the identification and arrest of a border wanderer with the identity (M-R) from Ilam at the zero border point between Mian Qapi in the Dasht-e-Zahab district by the brave men of Qazvin Brigade 116 stationed in the Sar-e-Pul-Zahab area, the accused was transferred to the city's intelligence police after a case was filed."
Colonel Manouchehr Rezaei added: “During the interrogation and assigned investigations, the accused stated that the reason for his visit to the city was to escape, leave the border, and go to Iraq. He said that in recent days, motivated by a family dispute, he killed his wife, identified as (Z-R), with a cold weapon (knife) in Ilam city on Esteghlal Street, and then fled.”
According to this report, the accused was handed over to the Ilam province dispatch officers for legal procedures and to continue the legal case.
In another report, quoted by Fars, the special investigator for the murder of Sonqor and Kili'ai County announced the arrest of a man accused of murdering his wife due to family disputes.
Bani Amerian said in this regard: "During the killing of a young woman by her husband in one of the villages of Sonqor County, a lawyer who caused the incident at 5 am this morning, was personally present at the scene and the dimensions of the incident were investigated. After the investigations were conducted and the attacker was identified, a judicial order was issued to identify and arrest the accused, and the police were put on the agenda."
He added: "The accused was arrested in less than an hour and handed over to the judicial authorities for legal proceedings."
The special investigator for the city's murder further added: "The defendant killed his wife with severe physical blows and the main reason for the murder was family disputes."
