Several judicial officers arrested on charges of attempting to divert attention from the investigation into Mohammad Emami's case

The head of the Special Complex for Investigating Economic Crimes in Tehran said that several "judicial officers" and "inspection organization employees" who were trying to "distort" the trial process in Mohammad Emami's case have been arrested.
Asadollah Masoudi, the official, who spoke to Tasnim News Agency on Thursday, June 12, did not mention the exact number or positions of these individuals.
The news of the arrest of experts from the General Inspection Organization of the country was previously published in December 2019, and after that, reports were published on social media stating that 21 people had been arrested in this regard.
However, according to Mr. Masoudi, "the number of detainees is less than this" and "initial processing" of their cases has begun.
He also emphasized that Mohammad Emami's indictment has been served on the defendant and his trial will be held in early July.
The case against Mr. Emami is related to Sarmeh Bank, and he has been in detention for about 30 months.
One of the most famous and important issues related to Mr. Emami is the series Shahrzad. In 2016, he and Hadi Razavi produced the series "Shahrzad" together, spending significant money and paying record low salaries, which turned the influx of dubious capital into cinema into the most important event in the performing arts in recent years.
In June 2019, during the hearing of the case of one of the defendants in corruption at Sarmeye Bank, Judge Masoudi said that in the future, "money laundering will be revealed in the TV series Shahrzad."
The Bank of Iran's capital court has reviewed many controversial cases, the most important of which include the 10-year prison sentence for Ammar Salehi, son of Ataollah Salehi, former army commander, and the 20-year prison sentence for Hadi Razavi, son-in-law of Mohammad Shariatmadari, Iran's Minister of Labor, and the 20-year prison sentence for Hossein Hedayati, a football investor in Iran. Parviz Kazemi, Iran's former Minister of Welfare, was also sentenced to 20 years in prison in this case.
The trials of some of the famous defendants in this case, such as Behrouz Rizgaran, Mohammad Emami, and Shahabuddin Ghandali, have not been held.
The case of Mohammad Ali Hadi, former Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, is also being heard in the Special Court for Clergy, and no report on how it was handled has been published.
The main shareholder of the bank is the Farhangian Reserve Fund, and the case against this bank came to light after the discovery of corruption of "15 trillion tomans" in this fund.
The Teachers' Reserve Fund has more than 800,000 members affiliated with the Ministry of Education and pays them annual interest on their monthly deposits.
