The court hearing of Ali Pour-Tabatabai was held today, Monday, on charges of spreading lies.
Ali Pourtabatabai, the editor-in-chief of the Qom News news website, was detained for a period of time in March last year following the publication of reports about the poisoning of students. It should be noted that no trial has been held regarding the factors behind the poisoning of the students.
The first court session of Ali Pour-Tabatabai was held today, Monday, August 29. He, who is active on Twitter under the name "Khizran", wrote on his Twitter account: "The first court session of my case was held on the charge of spreading lies. The honorable judge asked me to defend myself on the charge of spreading lies with the intention of disturbing public opinion, and I presented my documents and defended myself. In addition, a restraining order has been issued on the charge of communicating with foreigners, which was raised as espionage."
