More than 80 injured in 4.8 magnitude earthquake in Yasuj

An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale shook Yasuj, Sisakht, and Chitab on Monday morning (May 7). The earthquake has left 82 people injured so far.
At 26:00 on Monday, May 7, an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale shook the cities of Yasuj, Sisakht, and Chitab in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces.
According to the Fararo website, quoting the head of the Medical Disaster and Emergency Center, as of the time of writing, 82 people have been injured in the earthquake, 71 of whom have been treated as outpatients.
Apparently, some of these injured people were injured due to panic and hasty escape from the house.
The epicenter of the earthquake was reported to be five kilometers deep and 6 kilometers from Chitab.
Last Wednesday, a 2.5 magnitude earthquake shook the same area, injuring more than 100 people.
