Three "terrorist teams" arrested in western Iran

The Islamic Republic's Minister of Intelligence announced on Thursday the identification and arrest of members of "three terrorist teams."

Mahmoud Alavi, according to Mehr News Agency, said that these groups were arrested in the west of the country.

Mr. Alavi did not provide further explanation or mention the identities of the detainees.

Officials of the Islamic Republic, especially the Minister of Intelligence in the Hassan Rouhani government, have repeatedly announced the arrest of members of several "terrorist" teams in various parts of the country, including in the west and south of Iran, in the last year or two.
