Bennett's Nowruz greetings: The people of Iran and Israel face a common threat

On Sunday, March 10, the Israeli Prime Minister congratulated the arrival of Nowruz 1401 in a video message and emphasized that the people of Iran and Israel face a common threat, which is the "repressive and violent regime" of the Islamic Republic.

Naftali Bennett went on to call the IRGC "the largest terrorist organization in the world," adding that the IRGC's "proxy groups" and the "Basij" pose a common threat to the people of Iran and Israel.

Addressing Iranians, he stated: "We know that the Iranian regime does not represent you and they continue to deny you the freedom that is your right."

The Israeli Prime Minister expressed hope that the Iranian people themselves will be able to liberate themselves from the domination of the Islamic Republic government in order to achieve "true freedom."

Previously, on March 17, the Israeli Prime Minister and Foreign Minister issued a joint statement calling on the United States not to remove the name of the Revolutionary Guard Corps from the American list of terrorist organizations.

In recent days, media reports have reported the possible readiness of the Joe Biden administration to remove the IRGC from the American terrorist list.
