The continued illegal imprisonment of "Ismail Abdi"

The Coordination Council of Iranian Educationalists' Unions announced the continuation of Esmaeil Abdi's imprisonment.
Esmail Abdi is the official secretary of education in Islamshahr and has 21 years of teaching experience. He is a member of the Tehran Teachers' Union and has been in prison since 2015 for his efforts to improve the country's education conditions and defend the material and moral rights of teachers and principles 26, 27, and 30 of the constitution.
The Coordination Council of Iranian Educators' Unions, protesting the continued illegal imprisonment of Esmaeil Abdi, issued a statement on the issue, writing: "The deputy judge of the first branch of the Evin Prosecutor's Office for the Execution of Sentences, in a letter he sent to the Office of the Chief Justice of Tehran Province, announced that in order to facilitate the clarification of Esmaeil Abdi's situation, refer the case to the branch, because his detention is against the law."
"The regime's security forces have prevented Ismail Abdi's release throughout his years of imprisonment by filing cases and using extra-legal interference. Unfortunately, the judiciary, without paying attention to the impairment of its independence, has not taken appropriate action to enforce the law regarding this imprisoned teacher. Repeated appeals by lawyers, especially by the elderly mother of this imprisoned teacher, have so far yielded no results."
Regarding the injustice towards the situation of Ismail Abdi and his family, union activists announced: "Throughout Ismail's imprisonment, the regime's agents have ignored the oppression that has been inflicted on him and his family, but this neglect has not gone unnoticed by us union activists across the country. If his illegal imprisonment continues, union activists will take serious action and we will take the necessary measures to make this honorable teacher's voice heard."
