Another Bloody Friday in Zahedan

According to recent reports from residents of Zahedan, today the people of Zahedan, following a previous call, continued their protests after Friday prayers as a sign of opposition to the Islamic Republic’s massive massacre and in protest of the bloody Friday in Zahedan.

Security forces, who had been stationed near the Maki Mosque beforehand, once again launched a bloody crackdown on the people using heavier weapons.

During these protests, the Islamic Republic regime’s security forces used Kalashnikov rifles and grenade launchers to suppress and open fire on the people.

Following these attacks, a number of people were killed and wounded. Among the dead was a 12-year-old boy. However, the honorable and brave people of Zahedan did not stop their protests despite this massacre; instead, they found greater motivation to overthrow the Islamic Republic regime and declared: we will give our blood but not our land, and we will fight until our last breath for your overthrow.

These protests continued today in other cities as well. In the village of Shilan Abad in Mahabad, another young man named Shaho Khezri was killed by the fire of suppressors. The funeral ceremony of this young martyr was held with the widespread presence of protesting people and the chanting of protest slogans.

During the protests in Sanandaj, another 16-year-old girl named Sarina Saedi died as a result of multiple blows from security forces’ batons.

Also in the city of Rasht, a 28-year-old young nurse named Maedeh Jovanfar was killed by security forces. Maedeh’s family has been put under pressure by security forces to declare the cause of her death as a traffic accident.
