Following her opposition to writing a pardon request to Khamenei, judicial authorities made Sepideh Qolyan commit to going to prison

Civil activist Sepideh Gholian posted a video on her Twitter page, announcing her commitment to report herself to prison after referring her to the Evin Prison Court for execution and opposing the letter requesting clemency from Khamenei.
Sepideh Qolyan, a civil activist who is temporarily free on bail, announced on Tuesday, June 17, in a video on her Twitter page that she had been told that she would be transferred to Qarchak Prison because she did not agree to write a letter to Khamenei requesting clemency.
He explained that he was told to "write a request for pardon to the leader," and when the civil activist objected to this, he was told to call his family and announce that he had been transferred to Qarchak Prison.
Qolyan stated that he was informed "without notice" that he would be transferred to prison, adding that after his family called, they took a commitment from him and said that he would report to prison on Sunday.
This civil activist has announced that his explanation regarding his objection to the pardon process and the Haft Tappeh issues will be published after he goes to prison.
Sepideh Qolyan's lawyer, Jamal Heidari, also announced the news on his Instagram page on Tuesday, June 17, writing that his client "has been sentenced to five years in prison for supporting the Haft Tappeh workers" and that his name has been removed from the list of pardoned individuals in the case "without any valid reason."
Previously, Sepideh Qolyan, who was arrested along with Esmaeil Bakhshi after exposing forced confessions and torture, and was temporarily released on bail of 500 million Tomans along with several labor activists in Iran, was re-arrested at her father's house on Saturday night, November 15, after attending the popular protests in November. After a few days, she was finally temporarily released on December 12, after posting bail of 200 million Tomans.

The US State Department has repeatedly and on various occasions condemned the violent confrontations and widespread repression of protesters, as well as the repeated and persistent violations of the rights of Iranian citizens by the ruling regime in that country.
