Unprecedented remarks by Hamzeh Safavi: The possibility of assassinating Ali Khamenei is real

Hamzeh Safavi, the son of Ali Khamenei's military advisor, announced the real possibility of Khamenei's assassination.

Hamzeh Safavi, a professor of political science and son of Yahya Rahim Safavi, emphasized the possibility of Israeli actions against Ali Khamenei and called for Iran to be prepared to face war and terror scenarios.

Hamzeh Safavi, the top military advisor to Ali Khamenei, made an unprecedented statement in a video interview that the possibility of an assassination of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei by Israel is likely. He also warned that Iran must be fully prepared to face such scenarios, even if these actions are carried out independently of US authorization.

Safavi, who is introduced as a professor of political science at the University of Tehran, repeatedly referred in this interview to Israel's ability to target the country's first and second-ranking officials, saying: "If the issue of accessing the country's first and second-ranking officials arises, they will do so at any cost, even by accepting the risk of war."

Referring to the possible role of the United States, he added: "If Israel takes this action without American permission, the United States will be in a position where the deed is done and Iran will face a serious problem, but it must sit down and think."

Hamzeh Safavi also referred to the previous actions and words of "Donald Trump" about the 12-day war with Iran and noted that some atrocities have been broken and the path has been paved for future wars. He warned about "coping out" and gradual pressures on Iran, saying: "All my concern is about the scenario of copping out with gradual humiliations and pressures."

In this interview, the son of Khamenei's top military advisor criticized his positions on negotiations with the United States and emphasized the need for "comprehensive negotiations." He noted that the JCPOA was a single-issue agreement and therefore failed, and that Iran should seek a comprehensive agreement with the United States that goes beyond the issue of enrichment.

Given the emphasis of Israeli officials and the history of tensions, Hamzeh Safavi's remarks reflect domestic concerns about the security of Iranian leaders and the possibility of future military developments in the Middle East. He spoke of the need to be prepared for all scenarios, even in situations where these actions could lead to war or escalate regional crises.

It should be noted that these unprecedented statements are a wake-up call for observers and the international community. The warnings of the son of Iran's top military advisor show that the security situation and regional stability remain fragile and that there is a possibility of unpredictable actions, including assassinations of leaders or escalation of tensions. Such a situation exposes not only Iran, but also all neighboring countries and global actors to serious risks and highlights the need for diplomatic response, defense preparedness, and prevention of potential crises.
