Editor's note: In the end, the tailor also fell into the pot!

These days, a thought-provoking piece of news has been published in Iranian newspapers, and we would like to inform you about the events behind this news and explore its origins.
“Yonathan Batkelia, the representative of the Assyrians and Chaldeans of Iran in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, has reported the usurpation of land belonging to the Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church in Tehran by a group under the banner of the religious board and under the pretext of establishing and building a Husseiniyeh .” Sharq Newspaper
This unfortunate news from the Assyrian and Chaldean Catholic Church is a continuation of the gradual elimination of the Christian religious minority by the Islamic government of Iran. Unfortunately, this kind of news is not unprecedented in the past thirty-seven years, and the trustees of the Islamic Reformation in Iran have many such encroachments on church property in their work records. Mentioning each of those cases will only add to the pain that the seizure of Catholic land has caused in the hearts of believers.
What is even more unfortunate is that Mr. Yonatan Batkelia, the representative of the Assyrians and Chaldeans of Iran, said this in his speech in the Islamic Consultative Assembly: For almost two years, a group under the banner of a religious commission has illegally seized land belonging to the Assyrian-Chaldean Catholic Church on Patrice Lumumba Street in Tehran under the pretext of establishing and building a Husseiniyeh. Despite repeated visits and numerous investigations by officials, they have continued their usurpation and claim to be religious.
What makes it even more regrettable is that this statement came from Mr. Bat Kelia. He, who has a history of sympathizing and cooperating with intelligence agencies to eliminate Christians in Iran, is suffering from the same pain that he himself has earned a living from. Refer to the news published on January 1, 2013, entitled Permanent ban on entry of Christians… on the same news network. Or his complicity in evicting three non-ethnic Christian families from their residence in the garden of St. Peter’s Church in Tehran. May 3, 2013.
The result of his many attacks in parliamentary speeches and biased interviews against Persian-speaking Christians and his exoneration of intelligence operations against missionary Christians has brought about the representation of Assyrians and Chaldeans in Iran from the Sixth Parliament to the present.
These permanent representatives and substitutes of the Assyrians and Chaldeans have forgotten that in tyrannical governments there is no permanent protection and no adherence to moral principles. Nowhere in history is there any sign of the loyalty of dictators to their servants. The mercenary receives his wages as long as he is useful.
Do not put your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. Psalm 146:3
On Monday, January 27, Mr. Bat Klia, continuing his speech during the session, referred to Article 881 of the Civil Code and said: "If we are infidels, then what am I doing in this parliament?"
Yes, Mr. Bet Kelia, in the eyes of these gentlemen, you and I are not only unbelievers but also impure and unclean. But please return to the words of our Lord Jesus in the Gospel of Mark, chapter 7, verses 20-23. He said: “ What comes out of a man is what defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness. Deception, lust, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness . All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”
He whose desires and thoughts are pure and free from hypocrisy is pure in the eyes of God and man.
It is better to look at your past choices to better understand the cause and effect of these events. Accept the advice of this little brother of yours. Reconsider your actions and character and stay away from the path that leads to eternal death. So that you may remain pure before God and people and inherit eternal life.
