A number of teachers and retirees once again gathered in several cities in Iran.

A number of teachers and cultural retirees in several Iranian cities held rallies on Monday to demand the fulfillment of their union demands.

These rallies were held in Shiraz, Sanandaj, Hamedan, Darab, and Rasht, among others, and attendees chanted various slogans.

Teachers and cultural retirees are demanding the implementation of the classification plan and the law on equalizing payments.

In recent weeks, widespread protest rallies by teachers and retirees have been held in various cities in Iran, in some cases met with clashes with security forces.
