12 Christians sentenced to 125 years in prison in Iran in the past month

Four other Christian converts were sentenced to a total of 40 years in prison by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Ahmadzadeh. Yousef Nadarkhani, Mohammad Reza Omidi, Mohammad Ali Mosayibzadeh, and Zaman Fadaei were charged with “forming a house church and promoting Zionist Christianity.”
Over the past month, eight other Christians and Christian converts have been sentenced to 10 to 15 years in prison each by the same court on similar charges.
Last June, Pastor Victor Bet-Tamzar, Hadi Asgari, and Fallah Mohammadi were each sentenced to 10 years in prison, and another Christian convert, Amin Afshar Naderi, was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
These individuals are charged with "acting against national security and forming and managing domestic groups."
Naser Nurd Goltepe, another Christian convert, along with three other Christians from the Republic of Azerbaijan, were sentenced to 10 years in prison each on similar charges.
