List of the most peaceful countries in the world; Iran ranks 133rd

Peaceful relations in many parts of the world have declined due to terrorism and political instability. Iran ranks 133rd out of 163 countries in this regard.
The number of crisis centers in the world is increasing every year. According to the latest ranking by the Institute for Economics and Peace, 2015 was a year full of conflicts and bloody conflicts.
This ranking shows that the severity of the crisis in the Middle East and North Africa has increased. Meanwhile, Iran is ranked 133rd out of 163 countries in the world.
Europe remains the most peaceful continent in the world, with Iceland, Denmark, and Austria occupying the top three spots.
A world in crisis
According to the institute's report, titled "Global Peace Index," published on Wednesday (June 8), the critical situation in Yemen, Libya, and Bahrain has intensified in particular.
The authors of the report write that Syria remains among the countries where peaceful relations and relations have no place. Turkey, Brazil, and Ukraine also continue to face insecurity and crisis.
Only a quarter of the countries surveyed were free of terrorist attacks last year. In 2014, more than 100,000 people lost their lives in bloody regional conflicts. In 2008, this figure was 20,000.
On the path to peace
Panama, Thailand and Sri Lanka are improving, while the report's authors note that while Europe remains the world's most peaceful continent, conditions in most of its countries have worsened since last year.
The Institute for Economics and Peace in London is a global research institute that works on peace and the economic benefits it brings. Its research covers 23 areas, including war, terrorism, social security, and state violence.
