Mohammad Saeedi, a member of the former nuclear negotiating team, was arrested.

A judicial source informed that Mohammad Saeedi, a member of the former nuclear negotiating team, has been arrested on charges of financial corruption. His arrest is said to have nothing to do with the nuclear issue and is related to the Iranian Shipping Organization case.
An informed judicial official, while announcing the arrest of Mohammad Saeedi, said that his arrest has nothing to do with the nuclear issue and that his name has long been involved in the corruption network in the shipping company.
This knowledgeable judicial official added that the shipping case is one of the most famous cases in the judicial system.
Mohammad Saeedi had been appointed as the CEO of Iran Shipping Company, owned by Shasta (a company of the Social Security Organization) since 2015, and then during the Hassan Rouhani administration. He resigned in August 2019, and in November of the same year, he was prosecuted by the General Inspection Organization of the country on charges of accepting bribes and other financial violations during his management period, and was eventually arrested. He was released on bail for a while, but has now been arrested again.
Following Saeedi's resignation, some media outlets reported that the reason for his resignation was the "detention of an Iranian tanker in Gibraltar," while others cited "financial corruption."
Not long ago, Shargh newspaper announced the arrest of "A.A.G.", a member of the board of directors of the Iranian Shipping Organization, and referred to him as the "black box" of the company. In its report, it announced the acquittal of the company's resigned and arrested CEO.
Rajanews writes in this regard that it has obtained documents showing that Mohammad Saeedi, a former member of Hassan Rouhani's negotiating team in the Saadabad negotiations and the head of the shipping company from 2015 to 2019, has not only not been acquitted, but has also been re-arrested for more than a month with his bail being tightened.
Mohammad Saeedi has been a permanent member of Iran's nuclear negotiating team for five years since the beginning of the nuclear issue. He was also the deputy head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran in the government of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Iranian media announced in November 2019 that a manager of a shipping company owned by Shasta had been arrested for accepting a $4 million bribe and then released on bail.
