Marjan Hazavian was an employee of the Presidential Office during the administrations of both Rouhani and Raisi. Like many other government officials, he left Iran during the nationwide protests and popular revolution.
A video of his entry into Toronto airport that was published on social media pages reveals many issues. After entering Toronto airport, he faced a strong reaction from those who identified him. Iranians who identified him at the airport said to him: Why have you come here? You were killing our children while you yourselves are fleeing?
In this video, a woman says: Have you come here to convert to Christianity and claim asylum? It appears that Marjan Hazavian claims he has retired.
