Education Authority: Students are required to wear appropriate clothing in virtual classes

The director general of the Ministry of Education's Parents and Teachers Association said on Tuesday that since virtual classes are considered official classes, all rules "must" be followed in virtual classes.

Noorali Abbaspour told the "Follow the News Network" program: "Because virtual classes are also official classes and all rules must be followed, the clothing should also be appropriate in terms of visual communication, but it is definitely not mandatory to wear a school uniform."

He added: "The requirement for appropriate attire is to maintain formal classroom relationships and is observed in visual communication."

In this regard, Education Minister Mohsen Haji Mirzaei said on Sunday: "According to the plans made and the permission of the National Coronavirus Task Force, it is most likely that in the new academic year, including Thursdays, half of the students will go to school on even days and the other half on odd days."

Mohsen Haji Mirzaei also said: "According to the plan, the new academic year will begin on September 5th of this year, either in person or in absentia, or a combination of the two, and if the situation in the province is red, we will use other methods."
