Noushin Jafari, photographer and cultural journalist, "arrested"

Some social media users reported on Wednesday the arrest of journalist and photographer Noushin Jafari.

Noushin Jafari's friends have written that she was arrested four days ago.

However, the reason for Ms. Jafari's arrest and charges have not been announced, and judicial authorities have not yet said anything about it.

Noushin Jafari, who began her journalism career in the field of culture and art in 2008, was arrested once in February 2009.

Ms. Jafari's main field of activity in recent years has been artistic photography and film and theater photography.
