Ministry of Intelligence's response to Ahmadinejad's remarks about the security mafia

The Assistant Minister of Intelligence responded to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's recent remarks about the existence of a security mafia gang in the Ministry of Intelligence. The former Iranian president had spoken in a controversial interview about the existence of an infiltration network in the ministry.

On Sunday, June 13, the special assistant to the Minister of Intelligence responded to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's recent revelations about the existence of a "security mafia gang in the Ministry of Intelligence" in an interview with ISNA news agency.

The unnamed special assistant to the Minister of Intelligence considered Ahmadinejad's statements to be the result of his "characteristic delusion" and advised him to "continue his psychotherapy and disillusionment process."

The Ministry of Intelligence's reaction came immediately after the publication of the full text of Ahmadinejad's speech on the "Spring Government" website and the broadcast of his full interview.

The revelations of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, former President of Iran and member of the Expediency Discernment Council, were published in full on YouTube on Sunday.

Ahmadinejad had previously warned that the time for revelations would come. He has now made statements that anyone else who had said these things would have been dealt with by the judiciary or the IRGC intelligence.

But the ninth and tenth president continues to make revelations. He recently said, "I have recorded the issues I know and placed them in several secure places."

At the beginning of his 58-minute interview, he says that the Ministry of Intelligence has officially threatened him because of his revelations about the "corrupt security gang" and "the dangers that threaten the revolution and the system."

The former Iranian president even spoke about the possibility of his own assassination, saying, "They kill themselves, hold their own mourning ceremonies, and then accuse others."

The story of “Buying the Island and the Escape of Officials”

At the end of his interview, Ahmadinejad brought up the issue of the authorities buying the island again, saying, "If the nation's anger rises, they will flee."

The former Iranian president had previously said in a meeting with a group of people in Ardabil province: "Some of them have taken the money, they have even bought an island so that if the nation's anger rises, they can escape. They don't know that if the nation's anger boils, they won't have peace on that island either."

In his new interview, the member of the Expediency Discernment Committee describes these individuals as "a security gang with a number of officials and power holders" who prevent people from achieving their rights.

He says: "These people only think about their own interests and pretend to be super-revolutionaries. The rights of the nation, the interests of the people, the values and ideals of the revolution, the interests of the country, the system, the religion and faith of the people have no value to these people."

Ahmadinejad continued his revelations by saying that he knew some of these people closely and had discussed them, but he did not name them.

The Expediency Discernment member continued his speech by warning that "today they have become more dangerous than ever," but if the roads are closed, that is when they will escape.

According to Ahmadinejad, these people also planned for the day of reckoning. He says: "These people took a lot of financial resources out of the country. They provided their residence documents and relatives. They do not refrain from committing any crime. I said before that they also bought a group and an island, meaning they provided all the facilities to complete their mission. Now they feel that the time to escape is very close."

The audience for Mr. Ahmadinejad's statements are people who are in power. However, the country's high-ranking officials have so far remained silent on the matter, and so far only the assistant minister of intelligence has reacted to Ahmadinejad's remarks.

Many in Iran have said that if the former Iranian president's words are true and such people exist, the judiciary should introduce them and say where this island was purchased and who its owners are.

In the full version of his video interview, Ahmadinejad also spoke about the assassination of nuclear scientists, the explosion at the Natanz facility, and the theft of Iran's nuclear file in Turqoozabad.
