Message from Prince Reza Pahlavi regarding the Islamic Republic's attacks on Arab countries

In a message about the Islamic Republic's attacks on Arab countries, Prince Reza Pahlavi condemned the violation of the sovereignty of Iran's neighbors.

Following the escalation of tensions in the Middle East and the military attacks by Israel and the United States against Iran, reports indicate that the Islamic Republic of Iran has launched missile attacks on several Arab countries in the region. According to these reports, missiles were fired at the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Iraq and Saudi Arabia, a move that has raised widespread concerns about the spread of conflict in the region.

Analysts believe that these attacks could lead to increased instability in the Middle East, a region that has witnessed numerous tensions between Iran and Arab countries in recent years. Many political observers consider this action a violation of the national sovereignty of Iran's neighboring countries and a factor that increases the risk of wider conflicts in the region.

Meanwhile, Prince Reza Pahlavi issued a message condemning the Islamic Republic's attacks on Iran's neighboring Arab countries, calling it another example of the regime's destabilizing policies.

The full text of Prince Reza Pahlavi's message is as follows:

“The Islamic Republic has fired missiles at the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. This regime is targeting our Arab neighbors. Violating their national sovereignty is unacceptable and we condemn it. But this is not new. This has always been the nature of the Islamic Republic and this is why it must end.

For nearly five decades, this terrorist regime has caused chaos and bloodshed across our region. It supported Assad and turned Syria into a graveyard. It created Hezbollah, a government within a government in Lebanon. It armed the Houthis to destabilize the Arabian Peninsula. In Iraq, it strengthened militias that undermine Iraqi sovereignty, and it also attacked the economic centers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

None of this has ever been the will of the Iranian people, but rather the will of the regime that occupies our country. However, now the scene has fundamentally changed.

Assad is gone, Hezbollah is severely weakened. The regime’s military nuclear program has been set back. Its economy is in free fall. The pillars of the regime’s aggressive policy are crumbling.

The Iranian people have paid the price for getting to this point with their own blood. The regime massacred tens of thousands of my compatriots in just two days, but it has failed to break our nation. Instead, it is the regime itself that is crumbling.

Today, history reminds us of our future potential. Before the 1979 revolution, Iran worked closely with Arab leaders; from King Faisal to Sheikh Zayed, from King Hussein to President Sadat. In Oman, my father helped Sultan Qaboos defend his country from rebellion. We were true partners then, and we will be true partners again.

The Iranian people have asked me to lead the transition after this regime leaves. I have accepted that responsibility. Part of the great mission they have entrusted to me is to restore our country and our foreign relations to normal. And that is exactly what I will do.

My commitment is that this transition will be carried out in an orderly manner, that the country will achieve stability, and that Iranians will determine their future through the ballot box.

We will not repeat the mistakes that some other countries made during the transition. We will avoid scenarios such as "de-Baathification" and we will retain as many civil servants and public service workers as possible in the transition process.

The Iranians have made their choice at a very high price. Now I call on our friends in the Arab world to join us in recognizing and engaging with our transitional government.

We will rebuild our country not for expansionism, but to serve the Iranian people. We will build our diplomatic relations not on the basis of exporting ideology, but on the basis of mutual respect and shared interests. We will re-integrate into the regional and global economy to enhance the well-being of the citizens of all our countries.

“Standing with the people of Iran is not a charity, but a strategic investment in making our region one of the most stable, secure, and prosperous in the world. Together, we can build a Middle East that our children will be proud to inherit. Join us on this new journey.”
