I would first like to express my gratitude to President al-Sisi and the government and dear people of Egypt for making it possible to hold this ceremony.

Your Majesty,

Thirty-eight years ago in this friendly and kind land, you left us. Like the anniversaries of previous years, I have come to your tomb to pay my respects on behalf of myself, your children and grandchildren, and as a representative of your admirers in this gathering and other Iranians inside and outside the homeland, who are increasingly becoming aware each day of the services and efforts of your father Reza Shah the Great and yourself for the advancement and progress of Iran and Iranians.

Women, youth, and men of Iran have endured nearly forty years the weight of the great terror you had foreseen. However, I am confident that this dark period will come to an end and the steadfast and unyielding Iranian nation will return to its eternal values in the near future. The return to light is inevitable.

Your Majesty, may your soul rest in peace
