Kashan; 135 cases of child abuse investigated by social emergency services last year

HRANA News Agency – The head of the Kashan Welfare Department announced the investigation of 135 cases of child abuse, 15 cases of elder abuse, and 51 cases of spousal abuse in the city last year.

According to the HRANA news agency, quoting Mehr, the head of the Kashan Welfare Department said: Last year, 135 cases of child abuse were investigated in the Kashan Social Emergency.

Umm al-Baneen Mottaqi Nejad also pointed out that the center's involvement in family disputes and stated: "During the past year, 63 cases of acute family disputes were referred to Kashan Social Emergency experts, and the relevant cases were investigated."

He also reported that 51 cases of spousal abuse by Kashanis were investigated at this center last year, and said: 15 cases of elder abuse were also reported to this center last year and investigated.

Mottaqi Nejad, referring to the five cases of abuse reported to the Kashan Social Emergency Center last year, added: "Five cases of eviction and five cases of mistreatment were also reported to the Kashan Social Emergency Center last year and investigated by the center's experts."
