Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, while meeting with a delegation of high-ranking officials headed by US House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson, spoke about Israel's war against Hamas and Iran.
He posted a message on the X social network, appreciating the representatives' firm support for Israel and their efforts to free and return the hostages, and wrote: "Israel is not fighting just for its survival; we stand at the forefront of the free world's battle against radical Islamist ideologies."
He added in his message: "Operation Midnight Hammer and Lions' Dawn against the Iranian regime reflect the deep unity and shared values of Israel and America: freedom, justice, and the unconditional defense of freedom."
Last year, Yisrael Katz announced in a speech that Israel was planning a global war against radical Islam led by Iran. He also emphasized that the main goal of the war against Hamas was to defeat Hamas and return all hostages, and that the regime's forces were massively strengthening their influence.
