The Deputy Minister of Primary Education at the Ministry of Education announced that 210,000 students dropped out of school during the academic year 1399-1400.
According to HRANA News Agency, citing the Student News Agency, the Deputy Minister of Primary Education at the Ministry of Education reported that 210,000 students dropped out of school during the current academic year.
Hakimzadeh claimed: Even children who are illegally present in Iran along with their parents can obtain an educational support card from the governorate offices and ultimately enroll in school after registration.
This claim by the Deputy Minister of Primary Education comes at a time when Afghan migrant nationals are witnessing obstruction by the Foreign Nationals Affairs Office in issuing educational support documents for them during the final days of the registration deadline. This is while last week the Ministry of Interior promised to resolve this issue by issuing a new circular.
