Extensive Fire at Mohestan Passage/Fire Suppression Efforts Ongoing
The head of the traffic control center of the Road Policing Police announced the occurrence of an extensive fire at Mohestan Passage in Revolution Square and said: fire suppression efforts are still ongoing.
Colonel Mohammad Rezaqi, in an interview with Mehr news agency, discussed the details of this incident: at 16:50 in the afternoon today, a fire incident was reported on South Kargar Street at Labafi Nejad Street.
He added: with the presence of traffic police officers and firefighting personnel, it was determined that the fire occurred in Mohestan Passage and has engulfed the entire building.
Pointing out that fire suppression operations are currently underway in this fire, he emphasized: from north to south from Revolution Square and from south to north from the Jomhuri-Beverly intersection is blocked to allow emergency firefighting units to arrive as quickly as possible to extinguish the fire.
Currently, firefighting personnel with all equipment are present at the incident site and fire suppression operations are ongoing. The cause of this incident has not yet been announced.
