Iraqi Mobilization Forces Confiscate All Christian Property

- Wanadim Kana, Secretary General of the “Democratic Movement of Assyrians” in Iraq, stated that Iraqi semi-military mobilization forces known as “Popular Mobilization Forces” are confiscating the property and real estate of Christians in Baghdad through force and weapons. Christian representatives in the Iraqi Parliament said that Iraqi mobilization forces affiliated with the Iranian regime are confiscating their property and real estate.
The Assyrian representative added: “The semi-military forces have occupied Christian property in the Karada, Mansour, and other upscale residential areas in Baghdad and confiscated them through forged documents at the real estate registration office and by force of arms.” The Assyrian representative stated: “Before raising this issue in Parliament, I filed a complaint with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, but my complaint yielded no results. Al-Arabiya, reporting on this news, added: ‘Iraqi Mobilization’ (Popular Mobilization Forces) is trained by the Quds Force, the extraterritorial branch of the Revolutionary Guards. Hadi al-Amiri heads this force. Most Iraqis consider Hadi al-Amiri a “mercenary” of the Iranian government.
