Two Senior Quds Force Commanders Killed in Israeli Attack on Syria

Two senior commanders of the Quds Force were killed in Israel’s attack on Syria this morning.

According to the Student News Agency affiliated with the Basij, the intelligence commander of the Quds Force and his deputy were killed in Israel’s attack on Damascus this morning, Saturday, December 21.

The Quds Force is one of five branches of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) responsible for extraterritorial operations. According to reports, the intelligence commander of the Quds Force is the highest-ranking IRGC official to be targeted by Israel in Syria.

In the said airstrike, a residential building in the Mezze area of Damascus was targeted and severely damaged. This area is considered one of Damascus’s important districts where major government buildings and centers are located.

According to some informed sources, four people were killed in these attacks, but accurate figures regarding the number of casualties, deaths, and their identities are not yet available.
