5,000 nurses fired after the Corona crisis

The head of the Nursing System Organization announced the dismissal of 5,000 nurses after the coronavirus crisis subsided in the country.
According to HRANA news agency, citing Event 24, the head of the Nursing System Organization announced the dismissal of 5,000 nurses after the coronavirus crisis subsided in the country.
Mohammad Mirzabeigi, while announcing these statistics, stated: "During the Corona period, the authorities recruited a large number of nurses through extended plans, temporary and corporate contracts, but as the Corona crisis subsided, they began to reduce the recruited forces."
Despite the reduction in these forces, Mirzabeghi estimated that the country's medical centers and hospitals need about 100,000 nurses; he considered this significant shortage of nurses "a great harm to the people and society."
The head of the Nursing System Organization also stated regarding the rate of nurse migration from the country: "Based on the certificates issued, about 100 to 150 nurses migrate monthly."
He also said that "recruitment conditions should be made easier so that nursing staff are not inclined to emigrate abroad."
