"Green Report" teachers' protests enter their 17th day

On Monday, September 19, a group of "Green Record" teachers held a protest rally for the seventeenth consecutive day in front of the Ministry of Education building in Tehran.

The human rights website "HRANA", which published this news, wrote that a number of other people spent last night in the same place and held a sit-in.

Those who passed the 2020 employment exam, known as "green report card" teachers, have repeatedly protested.

These people, many of whom came to Tehran from different cities to protest, have begun a new round of protests since September 4.

The Greens have participated in the centralized employment test for executive agencies and received a passing academic score.

The reason these people are protesting is that they were not accepted after the interview stage.

In response to these protests, Nasser Soleimanzadeh, head of the Human Resources and Administrative Affairs Center of the Ministry of Education, said that introducing candidates to interview and document review centers does not create a right to hire them.
