Iran's aid for the reconstruction of the shrine of Shiite Imams in Iraq increases by "30 percent"

A member of the Shrine Development and Reconstruction Committee says that "the amount of donations and donations from benefactors" for the development and reconstruction of shrines in 1400 increased by 30% compared to the previous year, despite economic hardships.
On Sunday, April 18, the Public Relations Department of the Headquarters for the Development and Reconstruction of Holy Shrines reported, citing Yousef Afzali, the deputy head of culture and public participation for the headquarters, that a credit of approximately 1,300 billion tomans has been projected for this year.
He stated that in addition to the ongoing projects, several new projects have also been defined, adding: "In addition to the development of the shrines, a program has been defined to reconstruct and develop the tombs of several great religious and national figures buried in Iraq."
Afzali pointed to the tombs of Salman Farsi in Mada'in and Ra'is Ali Delvari.
Officials of the Headquarters for the Reconstruction of Holy Shrines, affiliated with the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards, had previously announced that more than 150 projects to reconstruct Shiite religious sites in Iraq and other countries, funded by Iran, would continue for the next 20 years.
The headquarters' website, which reports on its work up to 2019, states that a total of 156 projects have been implemented by the headquarters in Iraq and Syria so far, including 34 projects in the city of Najaf, 40 projects in Karbala, 29 projects in Kadhimiya, 19 projects in Samarra, 13 projects in the city of Musayyib, 4 projects in the city of Balad, five projects in Kufa, and 12 projects in Damascus.
