Another explosion made this year's Arbaeen even bloodier.

Ehsan.S., FCNN News Agency: Many families were still waiting for their loved ones to return from their trip to the war-torn country of Iraq when another explosion occurred. Once again, ISIS blew up a car in the parking lot of buses carrying Iranians, so that the bloody Arbaeen ceremony would claim another victim.

It is said that the bomb was planted in a fuel truck and, upon detonation, set five buses parked at the fuel station on fire.

Iranian Arbaeen travelers were on two of these buses and intended to return home from the Chazhabeh border.

But the bomb explosion cut their journey short and claimed the lives of more than a hundred people in an instant.

This incident took place last night in the "Shumali" area of the city of "Hilla" located south of Baghdad and was reported as the most deadly terrorist operation in the past month.

The news is still not accurate, and nearly twenty hours after the incident, those in charge have announced that they still cannot provide an accurate figure for the number of dead and injured.

It is said that many of the bodies were burned and disintegrated to the point of being unrecognizable. However, many Iranian passports were found among the burned bodies.

According to the latest news, the number of Iranian deaths has reached 60, but ISIS claimed on the Amaq news channel that the number of dead and wounded is more than 200.

Of course, it is still unclear which city in Iran the deceased were from.

Reuters and the Arabic network Sky News announced moments ago that the death toll in the incident has increased to more than 100 people.

This is the second explosion that has claimed the lives of Iranian Arbaeen travelers in Iraq this year. Before the Arbaeen ceremony, eleven of our compatriots lost their lives in a bomb explosion in Samarra.

According to FCNN, the day of the incident was three days after the Arbaeen ceremony, and the victims were still in Iraq at the request of the Islamic Republic authorities.

Iranian officials have repeatedly urged Arbaeen travelers in recent weeks not to rush to return to the country so as not to get caught in heavy traffic on narrow roads.

Of course, we witnessed that in the weeks leading up to this ceremony, the Islamic Republic's officials repeatedly assured the people that their complete safety would be guaranteed during the Arbaeen pilgrimage. This trust in the authorities was so strong that we saw many Iranians bringing young children or elderly people with them.

Unfortunately, as we saw in the Samarra explosion, the authorities are not disclosing the ages of the victims to the media, so that it is not clear which groups are being victimized in such propaganda programs of the Islamic Republic.
