Obama Says Trump’s Claims of Election Fraud are Baseless

Barack Obama, former president of the United States, considered the deliberate alignment of some Republicans with Trump’s claims to be dangerous for American democracy. Obama rejected Trump’s claims of election fraud and deemed them baseless.

Barack Obama, in an interview with the news network “CBS News,” while refuting suspicions of fraud in the American elections, expressed concern about the deliberate alignment of some Republican officials with Trump.

Trump, several days after the American presidential election, has still not accepted the election victory of Joe Biden, his electoral rival.

The former president of the United States considered the Republicans’ alignment with Trump to be a step toward eroding the legitimacy of Joe Biden’s government and, in general, a threat to American democracy, adding that this path is dangerous.

Obama’s interview with CBS News is scheduled to air in full on Sunday, November 15.

Obama’s remarks were made ahead of the release of his new memoir. The first volume of Obama’s book is scheduled to be released on the market on Tuesday, November 17. It is said that this is the first volume of a book that depicts the life of America’s former president.
