Bolton: Maximum pressure continues on Iran and its terrorist arm, the Revolutionary Guard Corps

White House National Security Advisor John Bolton, in a message on Twitter, welcomed the news of the sanctions on a Lebanese citizen accused of money laundering for Hezbollah, saying: "The US Treasury and the US Drug Enforcement Administration have exposed another source of drug and terrorist money laundering, which was in contact with Hezbollah."
The White House national security adviser added: "We will continue to implement maximum economic pressure against Iran, its terrorist arm, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and its criminal accomplices around the world."

The US Treasury Department announced that it has sanctioned Lebanese citizen Qassem Shams on charges of "money laundering" for drug traffickers and the Lebanese Hezbollah group.
