A family's attempt to sell a 2-month-old baby in Natanz

The head of the Welfare Department of Natanz city, located in Isfahan province, announced police action to prevent the sale of a 2-month-old baby by his family in the city.

According to HRANA news agency, quoting Rokna, the head of the Natanz Welfare Department said in this regard: A family in the city of Natanz who intended to sell a two-month-old baby was identified by the police and prevented from doing so.

Raheel Mansouri added: "Today, Saturday, after a phone call from a resident of Natanz city stating that a two-month-old baby was being sold by a family, social workers from the city's welfare department, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor, the Revolutionary Prosecutor, and the police, immediately attended the location in question to examine the evidence as the buyer of the child, and after confirming this, they informed the police."

The head of the Natanz Welfare Department stated: "The timely action of this Natanz citizen prevented the sale of a 2-month-old baby."
