A group of families of road accident victims gathered in Larestan, Fars

Families of road accident victims and a group of people from Larestan County, Fars Province, held a protest rally to protest the condition of the roads.

Reports indicate that the families of the victims of the Lar-Jahrom road accident, which killed 16 people, gathered in front of the city's General Directorate of Urban Development on Tuesday, August 2, to protest the condition of the roads.

Iran is one of the countries with the highest number of traffic accidents, and according to official statistics, 41 people lose their lives in traffic accidents every day.

The lack of standard roads and the low quality of cars are among the reasons for the high accident rate in Iran.
