The Islamic Republic of Iran ranks 1st in terms of the "perception of corruption" index.

The World Economic Forum released its Global Competitiveness Report on Tuesday. Using a methodology linked to Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index, the World Economic Forum also ranked 140 countries in terms of corruption levels.
Accordingly, a score of 100 is given to a country that is free of corruption, and a score of zero is given to the most corrupt country.
According to Business Insider, the most corrupt countries according to the World Economic Forum are mainly located in Africa, Central America, and the Middle East, which have weak legal and governance systems and widespread poverty.
For example, Yemen, which is in the midst of a devastating war, is named the most corrupt country, but several countries that are among the world's 20 largest economies are also on the list of corrupt countries.
Business Insider has published the names of countries that received scores of 0 to 30 as corrupt countries.
Yemen is the most corrupt country with a score of 16.
Venezuela ranks second among the most corrupt countries with 18 points.
Tajikistan is in fifth place with a score of 21.
Zimbabwe is in eighth place with 22 points.
Lebanon is ranked 17th with 28 points.
Mexico and Russia are ranked 22nd with 29 points, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, with 30 points, is jointly ranked 29th with Sierra Leone as the most corrupt country.
