Bahman Choubi's death sentence carried out on charges of ties to Israel
The death sentence of "Bahman Choubi" on charges of having ties to Israel was carried out after confirmation by the Supreme Court.
The death sentence of "Bahman Chobi-Asl," who the regime claims was one of the most important spies affiliated with the Israeli intelligence service (Mossad) in Iran, was carried out this morning after going through the legal process and being approved by the Supreme Court.
According to the judiciary, Bahman Choubi, a database specialist, gained access to the country's vital telecommunications projects through his work at a knowledge-based company, and thus began extensive cooperation with Mossad. With high-level access to government databases, he pursued goals that the Israeli intelligence service had designed to infiltrate Iranian data centers.
Chobi Asl was identified by Mossad agents in a Gulf country. He then entered into cooperation under the cover of a foreign company called ESMI and took several foreign trips, including to India, Ireland, and other countries, where he underwent technical and security training.
According to him, in addition to paying for his travel expenses, Mossad agents provided him with training in the use of secure communication systems, transferring information through special memories, and encryption methods.
In his confession, the defendant mentioned Mossad's needs in terms of access to Iranian data centers, connections with companies active in the field of electronic equipment, and infiltration of sensitive projects. In exchange for his cooperation with the Israeli spy service, he received financial sums, training fees, and advanced spy tools.
According to the judiciary, the Mossad trusted Choubi to such an extent that he not only met with senior officials of the service, but was also used as a technical evaluator for other Mossad agents in safe houses. He was even provided with the latest versions of "Windows Red," a special spy tool.
After the arrest of Chobi Asl, his case was sent to court on charges of "corruption on earth" through intelligence cooperation with the Zionist occupation regime. In court, in the presence of the defendant's defense lawyer, the documents were reviewed and a death sentence was issued. This sentence was confirmed by the Supreme Court and then carried out.
But the important point in the execution of the sentence is that Bahman Choubi's execution was carried out in a situation where no information about his arrest or the process of his case had been published in the media before the official announcement by the judiciary's media. Also, the judiciary's claims that Mossad officials trusted Choubi were made without providing any documents and evidence and are only assumptions of the authorities; because in previous similar cases, the judiciary and the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation (IRCC) have broadcast documents and forced confessions of the defendants before the execution of the sentence, and clear signs of the regime's documenting and their fabricated scenarios have been evident many times.
The execution of Bahman Choubi, in a news silence, once again revealed the covert crimes of the Islamic Republic and revealed more than ever that political and religious prisoners, civil activists, and opponents of the regime are in danger.
