Suicide of a 16-year-old teenager in Mahabad

On Saturday, December 10, a 16-year-old teenager in Mahabad committed suicide by taking rice pills. The Forensic Medicine Organization has stated that the share of Iranian teenagers in annual suicides is more than 7 percent.

According to HRANA News Agency, the news agency of the Human Rights Activists Association in Iran, on Saturday, December 10, 2021, a teenage girl committed suicide in Mahabad.

The identity of this teenager, Damon Bayazidi, son of Ismail, 16 years old and from Mahabad, has been confirmed by HRANA.

He committed suicide by taking rice pills and lost his life.

There is no exact information available about the reasons and motives for this teenager's suicide, however, it is said that the cause of this act was some family disputes.

The Forensic Medicine Organization has stated that the share of Iranian teenagers in annual suicides is more than 7%.
