Tehran University students were beaten by security guards for entering the playground.

A number of University of Tehran students who were trying to use the faculty's sports facilities on Saturday, May 7, were beaten by the "university guards."
According to the announcement of the "University of Tehran Students' Union Council", a group of male and female students from the Faculty of Social Sciences approached various faculty officials, including its dean, on Saturday to receive the key to the playground grass, but were met with a negative response.
According to some reports, the veil worn by female students and the need for gender segregation were among the reasons that officials cited for refusing to give keys to students.
Following the negative reaction of the officials, these students entered the field through the back door, after which numerous security forces stormed and attempted to beat them.
According to reports, a number of students were injured in the clash, and emergency services even arrived at the scene to treat some of them.
