Danish teenage girl, who recently converted to Islam, arrested with explosives

This teenage girl, who recently converted to Islam, was arrested by Danish police with a quantity of explosives and a bomb-making manual.

The Irish Independent, citing police sources, said: "In the meantime, the 16-year-old girl's accomplice, a 24-year-old girl, has also been arrested on charges of complicity in preparing the bomb. Local media also said that the 24-year-old girl had been undergoing terrorist training in Syria."

Danish national television channel TV2 also reported that the teenage girl, who had recently converted to Islam, was arrested on January 13 of this year with bomb-making materials and a bomb-making manual.
The Irish Independent further stated that Danish media reported that the two girls have claimed innocence and that their names have not been revealed due to security concerns!

The Danish Security Service also said that, due to this arrest, Denmark's security alert level has not changed since February of last year, following the terrorist attack at the Jewish synagogue.
