In Bushehr, one-third of those infected with coronavirus in intensive care are young

Iran's Deputy Minister of Health has said that in Bushehr province, one-third of coronavirus patients in intensive care units are "young people."
Qasem Jan Babaei, who spoke at the meeting of the provincial coronavirus headquarters in Bushehr province on Sunday evening, did not provide exact statistics on the number of infected people in the province, but said that this province "is among the provinces with a high number of critically ill patients and the number of people visiting, including children, the middle-aged and elderly people." "There are many children."
Since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis, Iranian Ministry of Health officials have refused to provide separate statistics for different provinces and have instead provided general reports about the coronavirus.
However, in recent days, warnings from ministry officials about the increase in coronavirus infections among young people and children have increased.
Mohammad Reza Mahboobfar, a member of the National Committee for the Prevention of Corona, told the Khorasan newspaper yesterday that 15 percent of those infected with Corona are between the ages of 3 and 16.
He attributed the increase in children and adolescents being infected with the coronavirus to the presence of these individuals with their parents in places where there was a high concentration of people.
