The Marja's compassion for Muslim refugees who convert to "Christianity"!
Sheikh Jafar Sobhani stated in a speech that it is a disgrace for Muslim refugees to seek refuge in "Christianity"!
Until recently, clerics and religious authorities who were directing the intelligence and security services of the Islamic Republic and the state-affiliated media to counter the spread and growth of Christianity in the country have now become so widespread that the conversion of Muslim refugees to European countries has become so costly for the clerical apparatus.
Less than two weeks after Sheikh Ja'far Sobhani claimed that "Christians in the West are doubting their religion and saying, 'It is not known whether Christ exists,'" he now says that Muslims seeking refuge in the Christian system out of fear of the crimes of Takfiri groups is a "disgraceful" act!
Of course, he blamed the Saudi government for the wars in the region and asked, "Why are the Saudi kings who pray early in the morning killing so many people in Yemen?" Sobhani answered his own question and said, "The Wahhabis who pray early in the morning but have no humility and their hearts have not surrendered to God are responsible for all these killings."
He considered the migration of war-torn people to Europe and their drowning in the seas regrettable, saying, "Isn't it a shame that two Islamic states fight each other and people flee and seek refuge with Christians?"
It is not clear whether Sobhani is referring to the war between the two Islamic states of Syria and Iraq and the Islamic State group (ISIS) or the war between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain!
On the one hand, the Islamic Republic does not accept ISIS as an Islamic state, and on the other hand, Saudi Arabia's war in Yemen is not against the legitimate government of Yemen, but rather against a group of Houthi Muslims who were supported by Iran.
Not only is Sobhani weak in political science and analysis of regional conditions, but he also lacks good geography because he thinks that Yemenis, like Syrians and Iraqis, are fleeing by sea to reach Europe.
"The Ayatollah and professor of the Qom Seminary, with this level of literacy, has a complicated prescription for ending the crisis, saying that we must free ourselves from the clutches of oppression by these so-called non-Muslim Muslims by any means possible, and that it is time for Islamic scholars to think about their own actions and advise these leaders!"
In addition to his bizarre statements, Jafar Subhani's name is associated with insults and targeted attacks on Christians.
One day he states that "the fabric of the city of Mecca has become European," and another day, announcing the news that 600 people in Khuzestan have become Christians, he claims that "the enemies of the revolution are turning the people of Khuzestan away from Shiism by giving them money and facilities and forming house churches."
One day, he will grab the collar of the unfortunate students of the seminaries and say, "Let their only concern be their studies, not looking for extra work, and travel less."
But his statements always contain news that is unintentionally revealing, including the conversion of Muslims to Christianity in Europe. Of course, he did not specifically mention the number of Iranians who are converting to Christianity abroad.
Although he states that Arab refugees who are at war in their countries are converting to Christianity in European countries, according to official news and reports, Iranians still have the highest number of converts to Christianity.
In recent months, hundreds of Muslim refugees have converted to Christianity in various European countries.
