Campaign for Defense of Haftappeh Detainees: Sepideh Gholian Re-arrested

The campaign for the defense of Haftappeh detainees and progressive prisoners announced on its Telegram channel that Sepideh Gholian, a civil activist and labor rights advocate, has been re-arrested.
According to the campaign, Ms. Gholian was arrested at her father’s home on Sunday night.
In recent hours, images of Sepideh Gholian holding a placard protesting gasoline price increases have been circulating on social media.
The placard reads: “You increased gasoline prices by 300 percent, did you also increase wages?!”.
Ms. Gholian was arrested in November 2018 while supporting Haftappeh sugar cane workers, along with Ismail Bakhshi, a labor activist, and several Haftappeh company workers.
She was temporarily released in early November along with several other detainees on a bail of one and a half billion tomans.
