Two days after the IRGC denied reports of clashes with the public, one person was confirmed dead

One of the citizens injured in the shooting by the Revolutionary Guards in Khuzestan yesterday lost his life.
According to the Abdolrahman Boroumand Foundation, on Thursday, April 5, "Abboud Jalizi", a flood-affected farmer from Khuzestan who was injured in the clash and shooting by the IRGC forces on the flood-affected villages of Jalizi, Sogur, and Shakariyeh on the Allah-Akbar route in the Azadegan Plain of Khuzestan on the morning of April 4, died at Apadana Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
Voice of America previously reported on the clash, but IRGC officials denied any clashes.
Abboud Jalizi was injured during a protest by farmers in the villages of the Allah Akbar route in the Azadegan plain and a clash with IRGC forces.
The report states that after the conflict, the IRGC blew up a dam near the Karkheh River in the villages of Sogur, Jalizi, and Shakariyeh, flooding hundreds of hectares of agricultural land.
Mr. Jalizi is said to have had six children and his only source of income was his agricultural land.
