Donald Trump: Iran could have joined the Abraham Accords and normalized relations with Israel during my time

Referring to the Israeli war, Donald Trump said: "Iran could have joined the Abraham Accords and normalized relations with Israel during my time."

Former US President Donald Trump said in a statement that if he were US President, Israel would not have been attacked because Iran had become poor during his term and could not pay Hezbollah. Donald Trump claimed that during his presidency the world was close to an era of peace, to the extent that even Iran could join the "Abraham Pact". He declared that we need peace in the world.

The Abraham Accords were announced and signed at the White House on August 15, 2020, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, former US President Donald Trump, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The aforementioned countries were among the first to join the pact.

Before the signing of the "Abraham Pact", Egypt and Jordan were the leaders in the Arab world in normalizing relations with Israel, and after the UAE and Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco also normalized their relations with Israel. The United States also hoped that Oman, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia would also normalize their relations with Israel by signing the "Abraham Pact", but the Gaza war delayed this move.

Donald Trump also pointed out that Israel should end the Gaza war, saying: "Do this quickly and return to a world of peace."
