Ranking of the world's happiest cities; Tehran ranks 155th, Kabul last

The 2021 World Happiness Report indicates that among 186 cities in the world, Tehran is one of the unhappiest cities in the world, ranking 155th.

This report is published annually by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network.

The effects of Covid-19 on happiness and the differences between countries in their success in reducing deaths and maintaining the health and cohesion of society are the focus of the 2021 report.

In this report, Helsinki, the capital of Finland, ranks first, and Mashhad ranks 156th after Tehran.

Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, is known as the unhappiest city in the world, ranking 186th.
