The Revolutionary Guards threatened to attack Iraqi soil again.

The spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) repeated the claim of "the presence of Israeli bases" in Iraqi Kurdistan, threatening Iraq with another attack.

In an interview with Al-Masirah Network, affiliated with the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen, Ramadan Sharif emphasized Tehran's repeated warnings to Iraqi Kurdistan authorities about "several Mossad headquarters" in the region, saying that if Iraq does not do anything to dismantle these headquarters, Iran will respond again.

During the missile attack on Saturday night, March 11, 12 ballistic missiles were fired at Erbil, the capital of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, and the Revolutionary Guards claimed responsibility for the attack.

Following the attack, the Iraqi Prime Minister visited the site of the missile strike in Erbil, and Kurdistan Regional Government and Baghdad officials rejected Iran's claim that an Israeli base existed, announcing that the missiles had damaged a private villa and surrounding buildings, including a local television station.

Meanwhile, groups affiliated with the Islamic Republic subsequently wrote in their news reports that this action was carried out "in retaliation" for the Israeli drone attack on a headquarters in Kermanshah in recent weeks.

Israeli media also recently reported, citing "various Lebanese and Israeli sources," that "hundreds of Iranian drones were destroyed" in a drone attack carried out several weeks ago on a sensitive Iranian military facility in Kermanshah province.

Referring to these reports, Ramadan Sharif said on Thursday: "It is our right to attack the Zionist headquarters that target our security because this is Iran's red line."

His threats come at a time when, after the previous attack, the Iraqi government summoned the Iranian ambassador and formally protested the Iraqi government's violation of the country's national sovereignty by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

On the other hand, the Supreme Judicial Council of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq has also called for the Iranian missile attack case to be sent to the United Nations Security Council.

The council issued a statement on Monday, March 13, saying that the Iraqi government must take all necessary measures to counter violations of the state's sovereignty.

The statement also called on the Iraqi parliament and international institutions to take "decisive and serious" measures to stop Iranian missile attacks.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi also described the IRGC attack as "an attack on the security of the Iraqi people," and the United States has also strongly condemned these attacks.
