Prince Reza Pahlavi: The vaccine Khamenei is seeking is to line the pockets of the provincial corruption gang

Prince Reza Pahlavi warned that the Islamic Republic's leader's policy of banning the import of coronavirus vaccines from the United States and Britain is "a crime for wealth, justified by ignorance."

In a video message, a copy of which was made available to Voice of America on Tuesday evening, Prince Reza Pahlavi emphasized: " Who doesn't know that a vaccine that has been approved by the world's highest scientific authorities was not made to harm the Iranian people, and who doesn't know that administering a vaccine that has not been approved by any transparent international test is only to line the pockets of the corruption gang of the regime, and at the cost of countless deaths of Iranians!"

He called the policy of Ayatollah Khamenei and the leaders of the Islamic Republic towards the coronavirus vaccine a "crime" and demanded that " control of the way to provide assistance to the people and public vaccination be handed over to the medical staff in white."

Previously, Amnesty International had condemned the order of Ayatollah Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to ban the purchase of Covid-19 vaccines from the UK and the US, depriving the Iranian people of these vaccines, saying that the Iranian leader "has put the lives of millions of people at risk and put politics before people," while no one should be denied access to health services, including vaccines.
