The number of Kurdish activists arrested has reached 69.

With the arrest of two Kurdish citizens in the cities of Bukan and Sanandaj, the number of Kurdish activists arrested by the IRGC Intelligence Organization and other security institutions over the past 16 days has reached 69.

The human rights organization Hengaw, which covers human rights news in Kurdish regions, identified the two citizens as "Sardar Mohammadpour" and "Sirvan Amini" and wrote that security forces "arrested and transferred them to an unknown location."

According to this organization's report, over the past two weeks, a total of 74 Kurdish citizens were arrested in 14 cities, including Tehran, Karaj, Kermanshah, and Sanandaj, but 5 of them were released after a while.

So far, the charges against these individuals, who according to published reports were often arrested without a judicial warrant and by the IRGC's intelligence organization, have not been announced, and official judicial and security officials have also remained silent about this news.

Meanwhile, 50 Kurdish civil society activists have issued a statement, noting that the widespread arrests have "doubled concerns," and that the families have "no information about the location of the arrests" of these individuals, calling for "an end to this atmosphere and the release of the detainees."
